Corjl Legacy Designs and Design Conversion

📋 Overview

Legacy designs are those transferred from the previous version of Corjl. They're identified by a small icon in the upper right corner of the design thumbnail (shown below) and work perfectly in the new Customer Editor. Conversion is entirely optional and only needed if you want to access new 2.0 features.

• Dynamic gradients
• Improved curved text
• Other cutting-edge design tools

📝 How to Convert a Legacy Design

Method 1: Direct Conversion

1. Open the design in the Design Editor
2. Click the kebab menu (three dots) in the upper right corner

3. Select "Convert to 2.0". This will begin the conversion process for the design.

4. Review and make adjustments as needed

Method 2: Save As Conversion

1. Open the design in the Design Editor
2. Click "Save As"

3. Choose from the modal options:
   • Cancel: Closes without saving
   • Save as Legacy: Saves without conversion (keeps legacy format)
   • Save: Opens the Conversion in Process bar for approval

✅ Conversion Decision Options

After conversion, you'll see three options:

• Save: Save changes to return later (the original legacy version stays live in listings)
• Approve & Save: PERMANENT - Converted version replaces the legacy version in your account for all future orders
• Cancel: Revert to the original legacy version without saving

💡 Best Practices

• Use "Save" first to test before "Approve & Save"
• Convert one design at a time
