Using Shapes in the Design Editor

Corjl provides a wide range of basic shapes to use when creating a design. These can be found in the Shapes tab in the left panel area.

You can find a selection of basic shape images here, including a Line Tool (the size/weight of the line can be changed in the Styles area). Double-click or drag a shape onto the canvas. Shapes are SVG images and can be scaled to any size without losing resolution.

Shapes added to the canvas will have similar Style options as Images with the following differences:

  • Add a Gradient color to the shape.
  • Use the Fill style to change the shape’s color. To remove the fill color and make the shape transparent (but still show applied styles such as Stroke), click the Fill icon button.
  • Round the corners of the shape using the Roundness option.
  • Adjust the weight and color of the Line shape with the Line style option.
