Color Palettes Feature

You can create and save collections of Swatches as Color Palettes for use in other designs for yourself as you design, and also have the option to provide them for your customers. The purpose of this feature is to save time as a designer so you do not have to manually add the same swatches to multiple designs using the same color options.

Create Color Palettes

To create a Color Palette, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Color Picker tool.
  2. Select a color, then click on the Add Color button to add that color to the Swatches area. Continue with this step until you have the desired selection of color Swatches.
  3. Next, click the “save” icon button next to the word Swatches—this will open the Save New Palette window.

  4. Type in the name for the new palette in the Palette Name field and then click Save. You will see the new palette in the Color Palettes section below.

Please note: you may have to click out of the Color Picker and then reopen to see the new Color Palette.

More Tips: Use the drop-down to select from your created Color Palettes. To edit a Color Palette, click the “pencil” icon button. Use the Add a color button to add to the palette; right-click on a color and select to remove it from the palette.

Allow Customers to Use Color Palettes

You can make these Color Palettes available for customers to use in Designs. To allow this use, go to your Design Protections for the design.

In the Colors section, select the Enable Color Palettes option, then select a palette from the Color Palettes drop-down.

Your customers will now be able to see and use the selected Color Palette in the design.
