Connecting Your Shopify Shop to Corjl
Prerequisites
- Active Shopify store on the Shopify Grow plan or higher
- Admin access to your Shopify store
- Corjl seller account
- Your Shopify
.myshopify.comdomain (⚠️ Not your custom domain)
Step 1: Open Shopify App Settings
- Log in to your Shopify Admin
- Navigate to Settings (bottom left corner)
- Click Apps and sales channels
- Click Develop apps

Step 2: Create a Custom App
Click Create an app

- Name the app (recommended: "Corjl Integration")
- Click Create app

Step 3: Configure API Permissions
- Go to the Configuration tab
Under Admin API integration, click Configure

- Enable these required permissions:
read_ordersread_customersread_product_listingsread_products
- Scroll down and click Save
Step 4: Install the App & Get Credentials
- Navigate to the API credentials tab
Click Install app

- Important: Copy and save these values immediately:
- Admin API access token (starts with
shpat_...) - shown only once! - API secret key - required for Corjl
API key (optional but recommended for troubleshooting)

⚠️ Warning: The Admin API access token is displayed only once. Copy and save it in a secure location immediately.
Step 5: Connect to Corjl
In Corjl, navigate to Settings → Add Marketplace → Shopify

- Enter the following information:
- Shop name: Your shop's display name
- Shop URL: Must be your
.myshopify.comdomain (NOT your custom domain) - Admin API access token: The token from Step 4
- API secret key: The secret key from Step 4
- Click Connect
Troubleshooting
- Connection failed: Confirm you entered your
.myshopify.comdomain. - Permission errors: Verify all four permissions are enabled.
- Invalid token: Reinstall the app to generate a new Admin API token.
- API key confusion: Use the Admin API access token and API secret key (the API key alone isn’t sufficient).
