What does it mean that an order has been "claimed"?
Corjl is unique in that it allows each order link to only be accessed by one user.
Because of this, once an order link is used to open a Corjl order, the first email address used to open it “claims” (or is assigned) the order, and it cannot be logged into with any other email address.
There are two benefits to this approach:
- This prevents the sharing of purchased designs for free.
- It allows customers to have their own Corjl Customer Accounts where they can find all of their purchased designs in one place when they log in.
🔧 Troubleshooting Claimed Order Issues

If a customer sees an “order already claimed” error, it means the order was previously opened with a different email than the one they’re currently using and they need to login with the original email instead.
You can usually see that original email address in the Customer Info section of the Order in your account.

Adding an Alternate Email after the customer has used a different email address to log into the order, will not allow them to now login with the Alternate Email address.
You (or your customer) will need to contact Corjl Support to update the email used to access an order once it has been claimed.
