What Etsy Confirmed

We contacted Etsy directly after their off-platform transactions policy was updated.

Etsy confirmed the following:

Corjl demo links are allowed in listings under Etsy’s Off-Platform Transactions policy including use of the full URL: https://www.corjl.com/d/..., mention of Corjl, Corjl.com, etc.
Etsy’s policy lets sellers link to offsite tools. A demo link that lets a shopper preview and personalize a template before buying on Etsy is fine.
No listings were removed because of a Corjl link. Etsy reviewed removed listings that mention Corjl and found that the Corjl link was not the cause in any of them.

Why Some Listings Were Removed

Etsy said certain sellers listings were taken down because of other content in the listing, such as:

🚫 Sending buyers to another website to buy printed cards or upgrades
🚫 Offering discount codes or free shipping for third-party services, such as Paperless Post or Prints of Love
🚫 Including a QR code that sends buyers to your own website

How to Keep Your Listings Safe

✅ Do include your Corjl demo link so shoppers can try your template before they buy.

✅ Do keep the purchase itself on Etsy.

❌ Don’t direct buyers to purchase prints, upgrades, or add-ons elsewhere.

❌ Don’t include discount codes or promotions for third-party printing or delivery services.

❌ Don’t add QR codes or links that send shoppers to your own website.

What’s Next

Etsy is reviewing how its policy treats discounts for third-party printing and delivery services. Etsy has said it will reinstate any listing that should not have been removed.
