Direct Order Links

The Direct Order Link option allows customers to create an order via a clickable URL link provided by you. The link is convenient if you want to provide design access for your customers outside of your connected marketplace (i.e. use Corjl ANYWHERE). For example, you could paste the link into a mass email, or embed the link into a PDF download file for customers to click to create an order.

Please note: A new order is created in Corjl (and an order fee charged) each time the link is clicked and used to sign in by a unique user.

Creating a Direct Order Link

To create a direct order link, first click on the Direct Order Links button found in the Orders page.

This will take you to the Create Direct Order Links page.

Use the following steps to create the order:

  1. Name your Direct Order Link – Type in a name in the Order Name field.
  2. Set the number of orders allowed – You can limit the number of times an order link can be used to create an order by adding in a quantity in the #Orders Allowed field.
  3. Order Link status – You can set your Direct Order Link status using the drop-down selection next to the #Orders Allowed field. By default, the link will be set to Active status. To change the status, click on the Active drop-down and choose from Inactive or Paused.
  4. Add Designs to your Order:

    - Click on the Designs tab in the upper left corner.

    - You will see a tab on the far left of the page for Listings. Select the listing(s) you would like to include in the order by dragging and dropping the thumbnail image for that listing into the area that says Drag listings here.

    - Use the plus sign (+) to expand the list of designs included in the listing. Use the available options to delete designs, or change the number of downloads and expiration dates for individual designs.

  5. Add Instructions to your Order:

    - Click on the Instructions tab in the upper left corner.

    - Select the design you want to use for Instructions from the left panel of the Designs tab area and drag and drop the thumbnail image for that item into the area that says Drag listings or individual designs here.

Please note: if you added a Corjl Listing to the order in the previous step, and you have Instructions saved in your Global Listing Settings, then the default Instruction designs will already be added to this area.

  6. Create the Direct Order Link – Click the Save as New Direct Order Link button to create the link.

You will now see your Direct Order Link listed on the Direct Order Links page and will be able to paste that link into various delivery methods to share with customers (for example, newsletters, emails, embedded links in a PDF file, etc.).

Any orders created from that link will show on the Orders page with the Direct Link name and icon in the Sales Channel area.
