Presets vs. Templates: What’s the Difference?
Presets and Templates both give you a faster way to start a new design in Corjl, but they serve different purposes.
Presets give you a blank canvas with the size and settings already configured.
Templates give you a finished design with content and design elements already added.

Presets | Templates |
|---|---|---|
| What you start with | A blank canvas with settings already configured | A finished design with content already added |
| Includes | Size, resolution, bleed, pages, and other canvas settings | Layout, text, images, design elements, and settings |
| Best for | Starting from your preferred size and setup without configuring the canvas each time | Starting from an existing design or exploring how Corjl features can be used |
| Your saved versions | My Presets | Sandbox |
When should I use a Preset?
Use a Preset when you know the size and setup you need but want to create the design yourself.
Corjl includes a library of ready-made Presets for common products and sizes. You can also create and save your own Presets for sizes and settings you use regularly.

When should I use a Template?
Use a Template when you want to start with an existing design instead of designing from scratch.
Corjl Templates include layouts, text, images, and other design elements that you can use as a starting point. You can create a new design directly from a Template or add a copy to your Sandbox to customize and reuse.
